About
I am a photographer for the romantic at heart. Catching moments is a passion of mine that not only brings me happiness but also joy to family and friends. It is an honor to be with someone on their special day and to give a gift they can look back on. In these moments I don't just feel like a photographer I feel like an important person in their life who is making a difference for someone. The kid inside me dances with joy when I witness the love families and couples have for each other in front of my camera. I guess that's why I'll forever love 90's chick flicks and Jane Austin novels!
My Style
My style is bare feet in the grass, linen dresses twirling in the wind, backpacks organized along the mudroom wall, straw sun hats, trail running through the mountains and racing through cities, vintage pieces passed down through generations, ocean waves crashing at sunrise, a gingham picnic blanket with a bottle of champagne ready to be popped, Sipping a cup of coffee on a white painted porch then going early morning kayaking, lots of baby leather moccasins, pastel paintings, and a French farmhouse table with fresh florals hidden in vines of greenery ready to gather love together.
My goal is for Leslie Bird's’s style to encompass my truest creative soul!
Fun Facts:
- Leslie Bird Photography is named after the powerful females in my family. My mama, sister, daughter, and I all have Leslie as a middle name and the 2nd word Bird comes from my babies whom I call little birds!
- The beach holds a place in my heart from the wild waves of the Outer Banks, NC to the snowy sands of Seaside, FL.
- I live the military life, have moved multiple times, and have lived in 4 different houses in the span of 3 years.
- My girl crushes are Taylor Swift, Joanna Gaines, and Margot Robbie!
- Photography is my number one passion, other than being a mama, but I also love to run. I blame it on the endorphins!
- Weirdest fear = being in a small boat with a pod of whales tipping me into the water hahA! I'm passionate about saving the environment but something about swimming with miraculous creatures freaks me out.
